Leaving T r a c e s . . . . .
As tides change, there are marks left behind in the shore. The traces in the sand seem to suggest that water retreated against its own will. How water engulfs the shore in its entirety during high tide, can be completely different from how it recedes. The ebb and flow may not be the same.
Is it because water, when spent a considerable amount of time at the shore, had the opportunity of interactions with the various elements of the land? Does it alter the composition of sand after this interchange? Each departure tells a story; how it recedes and what it chooses to leave behind.
I aim to explore human binding, attachments, and the emotions through this series. During departure, what traces and emotional states might one leave behind: for themselves and for the other person.
